Picturing Justice, the On-Line Journal of Law and Popular Culture

SPECIAL MESSAGE

Picturing Justice was founded by Professor John Denvir and Rob Waring, and sponsored by the University of San Francisco School of Law. From 1997 to 2006 Picturing Justice published over 300 short articles on the intersection between law and lawyers on one side and popular culture on the other. While we are no longer accepting new articles, we hope readers will continue to enjoy the articles in our archives. We dedicate this archive to the memory of webitor and contributor Professor Paul Joseph.

For articles on movies, click on "Silver Screen." For articles on television, click on "Small Screen." Articles discussing broader issues are found under "News and Views."

Thanks to all our contributors and readers for their support over the years of this pioneering on-line journal, and especially to Professor Michael Asimow of UCLA and Stanford who was instrumental in building our readership.

And thanks to all our contributors and readers for their support over the years of this pioneering on-line journal.
