Arthur G. Ogden has a varied background in both education and in athletics. His sports career spans many years and includes coaching and athletic director positions at the high school, junior college, and collegiate levels. He has an B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in philosophy and his Ed.D. in sports management. Ogden has served in education for over forty-five years as a vice president of academic affairs, a dean of liberal arts, a graduate dean, and a college president. He has also served on NCAA committees and the All-American Selection Committee for football and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Caribbean School of Sport Science at the University of Technology-Jamaica.
