Arthur G. Ogden
The late Arthur G. Ogden had a varied background in both education and in athletics. His sports career spanned many years and included coaching and athletic director positions at the high school, junior college, and collegiate levels. Arthur had a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in philosophy and his Ed.D. in sports management. Ogden served in education for over forty-five years as a vice president of academic affairs, a dean of liberal arts, a graduate dean, and a college president. He also served on NCAA committees and the All-American Selection Committee for football and was a member of the Advisory Board for the Caribbean School of Sport Science at the University of Technology-Jamaica.
