Contracts

This casebook is known for its unique "law in action" approach, which provides detailed, and often unique, background on such landmark cases as ProCD v. Zeidenberg, Parker v. Twentieth Century Fox, and Hoffman v. Red Owl, while also utilizing modern cases added for the fifth edition. Although Contracts: Law in Action strongly emphasizes the human side of the stories that led to, and followed, these and other important cases, it is also doctrinally rigorous and includes many challenging problems that push students to master the rules and standards of both the common law and the Uniform Commercial Code.

The new edition of Contracts: Law in Action combines into a single volume what had been a two-volume set, and is appropriate for a three, four, or five-credit Contracts course. It also includes an extensive teachers' manual as well as sample exams and related materials for the starting or experienced teacher of Contracts.
