Remedies: An Integrated Approach is a student-friendly casebook designed for use in the standard remedies elective as well as in capstone courses designed to assist with bar preparation. It addresses remedies in context, ensuring students learn tort and contract damages while reviewing fundamentals necessary for bar passage. After addressing review and learning the remedies at law, chapters address when those remedies are inadequate and equitable relief is available.

This book is also organized broadly by the type of harm required by each claim in order for students to understand the inverse relationship between remedies and the intent required for most forms of harm.

The second edition expands the already-abundant explanatory material and includes numerous problems that require integrating remedies with civil procedure, evidence, and other topics.

Core Knowledge for Lawyers content for this book will be available in Spring 2025.
