Robert C. Cantu
A founding member and chairman of the Sports Legacy Institute Medical Advisory Board, Robert Cantu, MD is also an adjunct professor of exercise and sport science and medical director of the National Center for Catastrophic Sports Injury Research at the University of North Carolina. He is Director of Sports Medicine at Emerson Hospital, neurosurgical consultant for the Boston Eagles football team and neurosurgical consultant for the Boston Cannons professional soccer team. Dr. Cantu also consults with numerous NFL, NHL and NBA teams. Dr. Cantu is a clinical Professor of Neurosurgery and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine.
